Please do not bring valuables to leave on the beach unsupervised while we are in the water.

There are City and County Lifeguards from the Honolulu Emergency Services Department watching over this beach, attentive, and fully equipped during our sessions. 

The west side of Oahu is known for its calm, clear seas. However, this is the open ocean and there are times this beach will not work for our session. Shoreline conditions are always checked previous to our sessions. If the shoreline break is too heavy at e-beach Zosha Photography will find an alternative location.

In case of storm or change of conditions and unsafe entry you can choose between rescheduling or full refund. 

Yes, even if you book the Instructional package you do need to know swimming basics. 

If you know how to swim but have never snorkeled and are cautious about it, we encourage you to book our beginner's package that focuses on equipment use and takes a more introductory pace.

Our seawater is dense with salt which makes us all quite buoyant. I will have an inflated tube with us that will act as an oasis for you to hold onto and also the option for flotation belts. 

Water depth for our photoshoot is between 15'-35'. You will not be able to touch the bottom.

If you are a timid swimmer, or cautious about snorkeling, you are encouraged to come and try our photoshoot. 

If you do not know how to swim, feel free to contact me for the possibility of arranging  some beginner lessons in the shallow calm areas of Ala Moana Beach Park.

• finger reefs to the south that lie in about 20ft of water

POSSIBLE SIGHTINGS:

• Our local Honu, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (protected)
• Hawaiian Monk seal (endangered)
• Eagle Rays
• Our local Nai'a, Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins

*Turtles are our most common sighting, and are a special surprise when doing our photoshoot! We respectfully give them 6ft of space while in the water and pay attention to their unique temperments so as not to disturb them.
